I started out as one of six Production Artists in a newly created production/graphics department at ETS to produce artwork and testing booklets for the K12 testing arena. Over the years, I worked my way up through the department to eventually become a Senior Graphic Designer responsible over 22 graphic designers working across 24+ State-run K12 testing programs and implemented processes to produce artwork, style guides, quality control checks, and final products for both print and web.
Once again, I found myself contracted for the K12 testing arena. I was brought on board to help develop and produce artwork, style guides, and final testing booklets for various testing programs. This included producing illustrations and artwork in Photoshop and Illustrator, assembling testing booklets in InDesign according to program specifications, and general production department responsibilities such as maintaining program style guides, file structures, and following established processes and procedures.
Freelance UX/Graphic Designer
Starting in 2013, I ventured off into the world of Freelance Graphic Design. During this time, I have had the opportunity to work for a variety of clients, from small businesses to corporate clients. I have produced everything from illustrations, infographics, social media collateral, marketing materials, websites, web applications, book designs and layouts, trade show banners and displays, and a variety of other projects, all while maintaining professional production standards and well within my client’s budgets.
