WEB DESIGN PROJECTS

For each of the following projects, I was brought onboard as part of an existing team to help see the project through. My part in each project varied according to the needs of the team at that time.

Client:

Silver Tips Tea Website

Summary:

Silver Tips Tea is a tea reseller and a tea restaurant in Tarrytown, NY. The Silver Tips website sells tea and provides information about the tea room restaurant. UX Team redesigned the website to be responsive and user friendly using Bootstrap. The site was also migrated to Shopify, an ecommerce platform that allows our client to fulfill orders, manage products and update content. We started the redesign by creating wireframes that we then converted to full-color mockups. From those mockups, we customized and implemented the theme in Shopify.

Responsibilities:

I helped create wireframes for the site, create High-fildelity prototypes and implement the theme into the Shopify platform along with my other teammates.

Tools/UX Methods:

Visioning, Visual Design, Wireframing, Bootstrap, Front-end Development and eCommerce Implementation

Final Project: www.silvertipstea.com

GB Sciences website

Summary:

GB Sciences’ rigor and innovation are unparalleled in the emerging industry of cannabinoid science. The bioceutical first broke convention as one of the first cannabis companies to go public. As laws began to change around the United States, the company had to serve many masters - showcasing the promise of GB Sciences' leadership team to potential investors, keeping the science community informed of latest innovations, delivering news about the sparkling new facility in development, and routing consumers to the retail brands it was affiliated with. To tell their story, we delivered a full site redesign that shaped their sprawling legacy content into a crisp narrative. Through the process of interviews and current-state audit, site mapping, wireframing, and visual design, we arrived at an educational new site that swirled modern science and promising medical developments at a glance.

Responsibilities:

I participated in the site-mapping of the new website, helped create wireframes for the site and code out the final Wordpress site along with my other teammates.

Tools/UX Methods:

Content Strategy, Wireframing, SCSS, WordPress Website Development

Final Project: www.gbsciences.com
Client:

Ellery Homestyles website

Summary:

A leading supplier of branded and private label home-fashion products, Ellery Homestyles came to us for a “brochure” style website to showcase their brands and high level details about their company. We began our engagement with a deep dive session to identify the primary goals of the new Ellery website, along with what content (both written copy and photography) would be available for the site. Based on this session, we put together a wireframe to show the information hierarchy of the website. With the help of Ellery’s existing brand guidelines and style guide, we worked with the client to determine their “look and feel” preferences. After two rounds of revisions, we finalized the visual design.

Responsibilities:

I participated in in-depth question and answer sessions with the client, helped create wireframes for the site and code out the final Wordpress site along with my other teammates.

Tools/UX Methods:

Client Q&A Sessions, Content Strategy, Wireframing, SCSS, WordPress Website Development

Responsibilities:

Over the course of 3 months we dove into a thorough discovery process.
